Today, on this date, I’m happy to be “ME”

It’s no longer the same after 8th of this month. I know I need to add (+) one more year to my age. But first of all, how old am I? Why am I kept forgetting my age? Why I need a calculator at all time when I wanted to how old I am? Hmmm, maybe because I have stopped calculating it already.

Eight have dominated my life somehow in every positive ways I would say. Somehow, I could be a destiny child for eight. I felt the number so much in me. Maybe, that’s way I got attracted it so much.

I knew everything and anything happened in my life is happened for a reason. The good, the bad, the hurdles, the hard work, the stress, the frustration, the pain, the lost, the miserable, the loneliness, the abusive, the joy carries its very own reason.

To tell the truth, I didn’t really do anything in my life with a concise thought. I was merely following my heart and what is right at that time.

I don’t really give serious thought to anything in my life except when I’m sad.

I don’t enjoy talking about my personal life and feelings to anyone in my life. I love to keep it to myself. I enjoy loneliness in my own way. I love to do self talk. Today, I realised I have lost myself talk in the process of growing up. I’ll die keeping my life only to myself. None, would really know the real me and I like to keep it that way.

I’m glad for staying grounded. I’m glad; I always know the reality of life. I’m glad, I don’t easily get influenced.

Today, I want to thank the MOTHER of NATURE for moulding me to whom I am today. I’m happy I spent so much time of my life with nature instead of people.

I’m happy to be who I am. I’m glad; I’m born this way.

I know I’m unique in my own way. I know I’m being very truthful to myself. I know I’m very sincere in heart.

I know I’m not someone in this society yet. I know I’m not rich yet. I know I’m not there yet where I’m supposed to be. But, I’m happy to be who I am today.

Today, on this date, I’m happy to be “ME”

Besides my flaws, I’m blessed more than I should.

Happy Belated Birthday #tamaka

Happy Friendship Day “Friend”

“Friend”, who introduced the word to us? When do we learn the meaning of this word? How do we know “the one” is our friend? When do we start to address them as a friend? Do we know the real meaning of friendship? How long it stays with us? Do we still bother about the one we used to call as a “friend”?

How long a friend can stay as a friend? How long the friendship stays as friendship before it’s disappear and fade away leaving no traces.

I’m sure we have come across a lot of people in our life. Only 10% out of them become our friend. Yet, we only allowed few of them to come close to us.

Now my question is, how long does the friendship last longer?

Remember, friendship is like a tree. You need to take care and nurture it with water and fertilizer to keep it healthy and grow. If you have stopped nurturing, it will die eventually before you realised it.

NOW, ASK YOURSELF. How many of you are taking that concise care to nurture your friendship? Does it make it to your priority list? If it is not, I tell you what, there is no point of having this friendship because it will die anyway. Not now, but one day before you realise it, it will be gone far away and you can’t even trace any memory of it.

SO, if you are gifted with few good friends, learn to appreciate them. Make time to nurture your friendship so that you can always sail in the FRIEND-ship while living your very own life.

Trust me; this is only possible if they are in your priority list. I know mine; I’m working hard to be in priority list. If I can’t make it, I know I died trying.

The Story of Hibiscus (Bunga Raya) Malaysia’s (our) National Flower

Location: National Park, Kuala Lumpur

Without doubt, Hibiscus is one of our nation’s pride.

First of all, let’s see why the Hibiscus is chosen as national flower back in 1958 after a year of independence. Out of many suggested flowers, Hibiscus won the crown to be Malaysia’s national flower.

bty

Hibiscus rosa-sinensis is the national flower of Malaysia, called Bunga Raya in Malay. Introduced into the Malay Peninsula in the 12th century, it was nominated as the national flower in the year 1958 by the Ministry of Agriculture amongst a few other flowers, namely ylang ylangjasminelotusrosemagnolia, and medlar. On 28 July 1960, it was declared by the government of Malaysia that Hibiscus rosa-sinensis would be the national flower.

The word bunga in Malay means “flower”, while raya in Malay means “celebratory” or “grand”. The Hibiscus rosa-sinensis is literally known as the “celebratory flower” in Malay. The red of the petals symbolizes the courage, life, and rapid growth of the Malaysian, and the five petals represent the five Rukun Negara of Malaysia. The flower can be found imprinted on the notes and coins of the Malaysian ringgit. (Source: Wikipedia)

Long ago, this flower is widely seen at roads, highways, houses and schools. It’s broadly used as a fence for residential areas.

Time flies, technology changed the way we live. People can afford steel electronic gates. Every residential area requires security system. Safe living requires protection. People started to fall for cactus than to local flowers.

I rarely see them nowadays. I almost started to miss these flower.

Luckily, I got a chance to discover some rare typed of hibiscus recently. I’m overly excited see them in bulk so I took some snaps of them to keep unto my memories.

Isn’t it so beautiful?

[My Favourite] Part I: The 5 Best Free Android Apps You Should Try

textgram_1498393274[1]

I have been installing and uninstalling many applications (Apps) to find the best among the best. I have almost tested 80% of suggested Apps in blogs and write ups. I never had a clean simple flip page. My phone always flooded with all kind of Apps. At times, my friend goes crazy with my phone as they found it hard to find what their looking for.

Almost everyone and anything have an App now. So it is advised only to use the best. Here, I would like to share few Apps I have tested, satisfied and using it.

Merriam

Merriam Webster

I always wanted to have a dictionary with an offline access so that I don’t have to “ON” data and wait for it to load before I can perform search. Finally, after few trial and errors, I settled with this one. So far, this is the most reliable and best online dictionary I ever used. It goes smooth in both online and offline. However, the audio function is only available when online. Since I am so satisfied with this App, I have stopped looking for other similar apps.

Feed

Feed

Long ago, somehow an article had leaded me to “RSS” facility. The function helps you to read websites in efficient way. When I was so addicted to “RSS” apps Google Reader, Google had announced to take down the function on 2013. So I have no option but to find a replacement app. I tried “InoReader”,“Tiny Tiny RSS” and finally satisfied with “Feed”. Feed gives me an awesome experience with simple features.

Repost

Repost for Insta

Since Instagram is trending, many repost apps popped like mushrooms. As you know, Instagram do not allow you to download or save pictures nor do they allow direct full rights access to other app. There are many repost apps are available in the market but like this tho. I like their light/dark editing feature for repost-profile name.

Pocket

Pocket

This is a read it later app which is specially design for offline use. The super slick and simple design made me to fall in love with it. The black and white switch theme feature is super cool. The recent upgrade recommends you new stories from the people you follow. A must try app.

Diaro

Diaro

I am a memory collector. I writes dairy since my teenage years. Even tough, I enjoyed owning physical diary; recently, I switched softcopy for the purpose of easy access. At first, I tried “Memoires: the Diary” and then switched to “Diaro” for its bright UI colour selection feature. It comes with security protection, unlimited photo uploads and direct backup access with dropbox.
